Marcy TownsProfessor Marcy Towns was presented a Special Boilermaker Award by the Purdue Alumni Association. The award honors alumni faculty/staff who have contributed significantly to the improvement of the quality of life and the betterment of the educational experience for a substantial number of Purdue students. Dr. Towns received a handsome pewter locomotive keepsake during the Purdue-Nevada football game on September 24th. Additionally, her name will be permanently etched into the achievement obelisk on the Engineering Mall.
